This is wrong

I saw this at a friend's place
and they pointed out one particular page that seemed...a little odd.

A sigh

I made a decision to use shots of my last backpacking trip as a background on my work computer. It's on a slideshow and the image changes every half hour or so. Seeing pictures of far away places during my work day can be a bittersweet experience. For one, it reminds me that I am now back inside the cubicle. This popped up and made me sigh ever so slightly at my desk.

This is one of my favorite images from Mexico. Visiting the Zapatistas in Chiapas on a beautiful sunny day made the long ride from Oaxaca worth the sleepless, cold night on the over-air-conditioned bus.

These days I am an armchair traveller...well, aside from the road trips, weekend getaways and that one trip to Mexico a few weeks ago. One of the greatest thing about traveling is that you see something new and strange almost every day. You are exposed to situations you wouldn't usually be and dealing with these situations gives you a gauge of what kind of person you really are. It also reaffirms how important intuition is and how little we use it on a daily basis. Seeing a village of balaklava clad inhabitants would make quite a few people I know want to turn and run. Not me.
